Disney+ and Hulu Prices Rose in the U.S. — What Each Plan Costs Now
Disney+ and Hulu's U.S. ad-free plans now cost $21.49 a month. Compare September 2026 standalone and bundle prices, unchanged tiers, promotions and billing timing.

Disney+ and Hulu’s U.S. standalone plans now cost $12.49 a month with ads or $21.49 a month for Premium. The ad-free price is $2.50 higher than before; the ad-supported price is up 50 cents. The Disney+/Hulu bundle with ads remains $12.99 a month, while its Premium bundle rose to $21.99. New subscriber prices took effect September 23, 2026. Existing subscribers see the change on their next monthly bill, according to TheWrap’s price-change report.
These are standard U.S. monthly prices, before tax or any eligibility-limited offer. Disney currently advertises lower six-month introductory prices for some bundles; those offers renew at the regular rates shown below.
What Changed in September 2026?
| U.S. plan | Previous monthly price | Current monthly price | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Disney+ with ads | $11.99 | $12.49 | +$0.50 |
| Disney+ Premium | $18.99 | $21.49 | +$2.50 |
| Hulu with ads | $11.99 | $12.49 | +$0.50 |
| Hulu Premium | $18.99 | $21.49 | +$2.50 |
| Disney+ + Hulu with ads | $12.99 | $12.99 | No change |
| Disney+ + Hulu Premium | $19.99 | $21.99 | +$2.00 |
| Disney+ + Hulu + ESPN Select with ads | $19.99 | $21.99 | +$2.00 |
| Disney+ + Hulu + ESPN Select Premium | $29.99 | $32.99 | +$3.00 |
The current rates come from Disney’s plan listings and Hulu. Previous rates and the timing of the increase come from contemporaneous reporting. Disney+ Premium also has a current $214.99 annual option; the table compares monthly plans only.
Which Bundles Stayed the Same?
Disney’s current site still lists Disney+ + Hulu + ESPN Unlimited at $35.99 a month with ads on Disney+ and Hulu, and $44.99 for the Premium Disney+/Hulu combination. Both Unlimited bundle prices were unchanged in the September price-change reporting. ESPN Select and Unlimited are different plans; do not compare their prices as if they contain the same sports access.
The Disney+/Hulu bundle with ads also stayed at $12.99. That is just 50 cents more than either ad-supported service alone at $12.49. The Premium duo at $21.99 is likewise 50 cents more than either $21.49 standalone Premium plan. That is a price comparison, not a claim that every viewer needs both services.
What About HBO Max and Live TV?
Disney currently lists its Disney+ + Hulu + HBO Max bundle at $21.99 a month with ads or $34.99 without ads. Its Hulu + Live TV package, which includes Disney+ and ESPN Select, is $99.99 a month; the Premium Live TV combination is $109.99. Check the exact included services and any trial or promotion at checkout, because these are different packages from the two-service bundles above.
When Will Existing Subscribers Pay More?
The September 23 rates applied to new U.S. sign-ups immediately. Existing monthly subscribers do not all get charged on the announcement date: the higher amount appears on their next billing cycle. Check your own account notice and renewal date for the precise charge. These prices do not describe Disney+ or Hulu subscriptions outside the U.S.
Disney’s current bundle page also offers eligible customers six months of the Disney+/Hulu ad-supported duo at $11.99 a month or the Premium duo at $19.99 a month, billed for the full six-month term. After that, they renew at $12.99 and $21.99 a month respectively. Those temporary prices are not the new standard rates.
