This Cookie Policy explains how Red Reactions, redreactions.com, and relevant third-party services may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies.

What these technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Local storage and similar technologies can store identifiers or preferences on a device. They can help a website function, support security, remember choices and enable advertising or measurement.

Necessary and security technologies

Cloudflare may use technologies necessary for network delivery, security and fraud prevention. These help protect the site and its visitors.

Reader-rating cookie

When you submit a score on an enabled review, Red Reactions sets __Host-rr_rating_id, a functional cookie containing a random browser identifier. It is Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, limited to this site and expires after up to one year. The cookie prevents a repeat rating from the same browser from increasing the count and lets that browser update its score. It is not used for advertising, analytics, cross-site tracking or browser fingerprinting.

The raw cookie value is not stored in the ratings database. The server stores a non-reversible keyed hash alongside the rating target, score and timestamps. Deleting the cookie removes the browser's local identifier, but does not by itself identify or delete an already stored anonymous rating.

Advertising technologies

Red Reactions uses Google AdSense. Google and advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention and, where permitted, personalized advertising. Depending on your choices and location, advertising may instead be non-personalized.

Analytics technologies

Google Analytics 4 loads only after an explicit analytics grant (Basic Consent Mode). No Analytics tag or measurement request is sent before consent or after rejection. Analytics storage is granted only inside the Analytics context; advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization remain denied there. Google advertising choices do not grant analytics permission.

Your analytics choice, version and save time are stored under rr-analytics-consent-v1 in local storage for up to 90 days, separately from advertising. Missing, invalid, expired or unreadable preferences keep Analytics off. Global Privacy Control also blocks Analytics. With consent, Google may set _ga and _ga_K6XBXKY2K9 first-party cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions; their default lifetime is up to two years and may be refreshed on a later consented visit. Withdrawal clears accessible _ga cookies on this site but cannot undo measurements already sent.

Adsterra advertising choices

An optional Adsterra 300×250 banner is available within articles. When enabled, the banner script at bancadeltempoidea.org is requested only after you explicitly allow Adsterra and the article placement approaches the viewport. Refusing or withdrawing leaves articles readable.

Red Reactions stores only your Adsterra choice, its version and the time you saved it in browser local storage under rr-adsterra-consent-v1, for up to 90 days. This preference remembers your choice; it is not an advertising identifier and is not sent to Adsterra. Invalid, expired or unreadable preferences block the banner. Global Privacy Control also blocks it.

Once allowed, the provider receives ordinary network/browser information and advertising may use cookies or similar technologies. Read the Adsterra Privacy Policy and Adsterra Cookies Policy. The latter concerns Adsterra's own website and is not a placement-specific cookie inventory. No unverified cookie names or lifetimes are attributed to this banner.

Consent management

Analytics, Google advertising and Adsterra choices are separate. Allow analytics above enables measurement only. Reject / withdraw analytics stops it, including in other open tabs, and leaves articles, search, newsletter signup and reader ratings available. A Google advertising choice never grants Analytics or Adsterra permission. When Adsterra is enabled, Reject / withdraw beside the banner or in the settings above, and Withdraw Adsterra consent in the footer, remove its active banner frames and stop future loads. Your choice also applies to other open tabs of this website. Withdrawal cannot undo prior network requests or erase cookies on another provider's domain; use browser controls to clear those cookies.

YouTube embeds

Articles may include YouTube videos using youtube-nocookie.com privacy-enhanced embeds. When an embed is loaded or you interact with it, YouTube or Google may use its own technologies and process information under its policies.

Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you review, block or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking some technologies can affect how websites or embedded content work. Browser settings do not necessarily remove information already held by third-party providers.
