Naruto Card Game is scheduled to launch simultaneously worldwide in June 2027, Bandai announced at New York Comic Con. The opening lineup pairs three preconstructed Starter Decks with a first booster release. Before that, participating stores will hold demos from February, followed by a spring campaign distributing one million demo decks globally.

June is a launch month, with no exact day announced. Bandai’s worldwide plan also does not guarantee that every country, shop or language edition will have identical availability.

Naruto, Sasuke and Gaara lead the first starter decks

Each Starter Deck is built around a different Leader and includes the cards needed to begin playing. The official promotional visual identifies the three decks as follows:

Starter DeckFeatured Leader
ST01Naruto Uzumaki
ST02Sasuke Uchiha
ST03Gaara

Bandai says the decks have different ninja lineups and strategies. Complete deck lists and detailed competitive comparisons have not been supplied in this announcement. The artwork is also marked as a product in development, so it should not be mistaken for final retail packaging.

What is the first booster called?

Bandai’s US press release calls it “Enter: Naruto Uzumaki!” The Naruto Official Site’s English report, which carries a machine-translation notice, uses “Here Comes Naruto Uzumaki!” Both describe the first June booster; they do not announce two separate sets.

The booster features characters from Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, with additional ninja and jutsu cards for expanding starter decks or building a different deck. The broader game also includes Boruto in its franchise scope, but that alone does not confirm a particular Boruto card in this first set.

How to try it before the June launch

Premier Demo Events begin in February 2027 at participating trading card stores. Bandai describes an initial wave at selected large stores participating in BANDAI TCG+, followed by a wider second wave. Store lists, dates and registration procedures are still to be announced.

A separate campaign begins in spring 2027, with a stated total of one million Demo Decks worldwide. That is the overall distribution target, rather than a promise of a free deck for every visitor or in every market. These demo decks should also be distinguished from the commercial Starter Decks launching in June.

The advance-release Official Playmat — Naruto vs. Sasuke and Premium Card Collection Vol.00 — CHAKRA Set are planned only for the demo events and selected BANDAI CARD GAMES FEST 26–27 venues, including Orlando and London. Bandai has not announced general retail availability for those event items.

What comes next?

The next major game update is planned for Jump Festa 2027 this December, meaning December 2026 despite the event’s name. Follow the official game site and its linked TCG+ updates for local event information. The landing page still displays the broader “Summer 2027” window; the newer October announcement supplies the more precise June plan.

An exact release day, prices, complete card lists and preorder details remain unannounced in these sources. For the other projects revealed around the panel, see our Naruto × Ninkū and Shadow Rising report.
