Star Wars: Galactic Racer Launch Guide: Amazon Luna, Platforms, Cross-Play and Editions
Galactic Racer has launched, including Prime access through Amazon Luna. Check eligible regions, Luna's solo modes, console/PC cross-play and editions.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer launched on October 6, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with Amazon Luna joining the release. Fuse Games develops the racer, with Secret Mode publishing. PC versions are on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
October 6 launch: platform availability
The official game site now says the game is out. At our October 6 launch check, Steam showed a released game with Add to Cart, Xbox offered a purchase, and Epic displayed Buy Now. The Swedish PlayStation Store offered Standard and Deluxe purchases.
These are current storefront checks, not hands-on play tests. Use your regional PS5, Xbox, Steam or Epic listing for the version you intend to buy.
Amazon Luna: Prime access and its limits
Amazon Game Studios’ October 6 announcement confirms day-one Luna access for Prime members in every territory where Luna is available with Prime. The campaign is included at no additional game cost; Arcade and Scenarios are also available.
This is cloud access through an eligible membership, not ownership of a downloadable PS5, Xbox or PC copy. Amazon’s launch announcement does not promise permanent access.
Sweden is among Luna’s supported countries, according to Amazon’s current service guide. The Swedish Luna listing for Galactic Racer describes the solo campaign, Scenarios and Arcade. It marks cross-platform multiplayer as coming soon. Do not apply the console/PC multiplayer features below to Luna at launch.
Luna streams to supported browsers and devices, so there is no local game installation. Amazon recommends at least 10 Mbps; device compatibility and connection quality still matter. Its Prime Video Games-tab integration on Fire TV is currently described for the US and UK, not Sweden. We have verified the public listing, not signed in to test a Swedish Prime account.
Console and PC multiplayer
Steam lists single-player, online PvP and cross-platform multiplayer. Xbox’s listing identifies 2–12 online players and cross-platform multiplayer. PS5 lists support for up to 12 online players, with PS Plus required for online play. Xbox console multiplayer requires Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate.
These are storefront capabilities, not a guarantee that every mode fills a 12-player lobby. They also do not establish cross-save, cross-progression or local split-screen support.
Campaign, Scenario and Arcade
Lucasfilm identifies Campaign, Scenario and Arcade modes. The solo campaign follows Shade through a branching sequence of races: repeated crashes can end a tour, while some earned perks and unlocks carry into another attempt.
The story begins in the Outer Rim after the Empire’s fall. Shade wants to challenge League champion Kestar Bool and has a grudge against the Bool family. Mechanic Hibi and returning podracer Sebulba are part of the setup.
The official game site lists four vehicle classes: skim speeders, speeder bikes, landspeeders and podracers, with different handling and play styles.
Standard, Deluxe and Collector’s Editions
Secret Mode’s edition announcement distinguishes the base game from the bonus content and physical collectibles.
| Edition | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Standard | The base game. |
| Deluxe | Three exclusive vehicles, Deluxe liveries, three Arcade events, a multiplayer player-banner pack and digital art book. The official edition page restricts the steel case and sleeve to physical copies. |
| Collector’s | The game and Deluxe digital content, a landspeeder model, physical art book, two pilot patches, Kestar Bool banner, steel case, slip cover and collector’s packaging. |
The Swedish PS5 store lists Standard at 649 SEK and Deluxe at 899 SEK at our check. These are regional digital prices, not worldwide prices or confirmation of physical stock.
PC minimum requirements and DRM
Steam currently lists the following minimum requirements:
| Component | Minimum |
|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 |
| CPU | Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 |
| Memory | 12 GB RAM |
| GPU | Nvidia RTX 2060, Intel Arc A580 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT 6GB |
| Storage | 50 GB available space; SSD required |
Steam also lists Denuvo Anti-Tamper, with a five-machine activation limit. Its current page does not provide recommended specifications; Epic’s recommended fields remain TBC. Do not treat the minimum list as a promised frame rate or a final performance assessment.
