Paramount+ has renewed Tulsa King for Season 5, with filming underway in New York, Deadline reported on October 5. Season 4 premieres Friday, October 16, 2026. Season 5’s date remains unannounced.

Season 5: New York production and new regulars

The shoot moved from Atlanta. Variety links New York to Dwight’s mafia roots; TheWrap carries Paramount executive Drew Brown’s confirmation.

Spencer actor Scarlet Rose Stallone becomes a regular, joining new regulars Erik Palladino, Glenn Fleshler, Anthony Skordi and Nickola Shreli. The newcomers’ roles are undisclosed.

The renewal replaces this page’s earlier uncertainty. No episode count or complete returning cast is confirmed; the location change does not establish that Tulsa leaves the story.

The full Season 4 trailer

Paramount+‘s September 28 full trailer follows its September 1 teaser. The official synopsis has Dwight seeking legitimacy while politicians, enemies and a personal loss threaten his operation; the loss is unidentified.

Season 4’s announced cast is Sylvester Stallone, Martin Starr, Jay Will, Vincent Piazza, Annabella Sciorra, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Frank Grillo, Mike “Cash Flo” Walden, James Russo, Kevin Pollak, Neal McDonough, Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany, with Gretchen Mol joining as a regular.

Terence Winter’s role remains precise

Paramount names Winter head writer and executive producer, continuing his September 2025 appointment. Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios produce the series.

The production history is a separate matter. Variety reported in November 2025 that Dave Erickson had left the Season 3 showrunner role and that Winter was leading the new writers’ room without running the Atlanta set. Its sources described 101 Studios executive Scott Stone handling production leadership. That remains attributed reporting about Season 4, rather than evidence that Paramount has given Winter a new showrunner credit.

Dates to keep separate

  • September 1: Season 4 date and teaser.
  • September 28: full Season 4 trailer and key art.
  • October 5: Season 5 renewal, New York shoot and new regulars.
  • October 16: Season 4 premiere; Season 5’s date remains unannounced.
