Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 Official Trailer: October 30 Premiere and Cast
Watch Dexter: Resurrection's official Season 2 trailer. October 30 premiere, Brian Cox and Dan Stevens, UK weekly episodes, and the Final Cut aftershow.

Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 premieres Friday, October 30, 2026, on the Paramount+ Premium Plan in the United States. Paramount+ released the full official trailer on October 1. Michael C. Hall returns as Dexter Morgan, caught between two killers in New York according to the streamer’s synopsis.
Watch the Official Season 2 Trailer
The October 1 trailer runs about two minutes. It follows the roughly 30-second September teaser that first announced the premiere date. Paramount’s October 1 announcement also unveiled new key art and photos. The preview does not establish who Dexter kills or how either new killer’s story ends.
The New Season, According to Paramount
Paramount’s current guide identifies those killers as the New York Ripper, played by Brian Cox, and the Five Borough Killer, played by Dan Stevens. Uma Thurman returns as Charley, while Harrison’s pursuit of justice remains part of the official Season 2 setup. Paramount also describes Dexter confronting a midlife crisis.
In an Entertainment Weekly interview syndicated by AOL, showrunner Clyde Phillips explained the three-year jump after Season 1: Harrison (Jack Alcott) is now 21 and can join the NYPD.
Who’s Playing the Two Killers
Brian Cox joins as a series regular playing the New York Ripper, a killer who once terrorized the city. Paramount’s cast guide says he is no longer actively killing but continues tormenting survivors. Dan Stevens also joins as a series regular playing the Five Borough Killer, who taunts police with phone calls threatening innocent New Yorkers. The official synopsis places Dexter between them; it does not reveal the outcome of either conflict.
Premiere Date and Episode Schedule
The U.S. premiere is October 30 on Paramount+ Premium. Paramount’s UK and Ireland October guide separately confirms the same start date there, with 10 episodes released weekly. That regional schedule does not establish the release pattern in every territory.
The U.S. trailer announcement and current Season 2 guide do not provide a complete U.S. episode schedule or an exact streaming premiere time.
