October 6, 2026 update: Marvel Unlimited is being retired as its digital library moves to Marvel Comics Powered by WEBTOON, launching November 16, 2026. Your Unlimited account will not transfer automatically: you need an account on the new service.

What transfers from Marvel Unlimited?

The official FAQ lists these transfers:

Your Unlimited dataImport status
Library and saved issuesCan be imported
Follows and reading historyCan be imported during signup
Existing digital purchases and redemptionsCan be imported
Bookmarks and listsDo not transfer

Saved issues are distinct from bookmarks and lists; keep a record of lists you want to rebuild. The service terms specify linking the MyDisney account associated with Unlimited.

When does Marvel Unlimited close?

Marvel’s sunset FAQ, directly verified on October 5, sets out these 2026 stages:

DateChange
October 5New Unlimited signups end
November 16New service launches; library imports open
December 7Unlimited reading and new content end
December 21Library browsing ends
December 28Unlimited app removed

Existing members keep free reading access until December 7. Marvel recommends importing before then and checking the result.

Payment information is not shared with WEBTOON. Paid catalog access needs a new subscription; purchased and redeemed libraries require an account, without a paid plan.

Eligible active subscriptions receive automatic, prorated refunds for unused time around November 16; allow 3–5 business days. For Apple- or Google-billed subscriptions, contact the respective store.

Annual Plus retired October 5. Gift-membership instructions remain pending; watch Marvel’s subscriber emails.

Base and Ultimate prices

PlanMonthly, USDAnnual, USDEarliest new-issue window after print
Base$9.99$69.99As soon as three months
Ultimate$12.49$99.99As soon as one month

These published prices exclude tax. They do not establish Swedish pricing or worldwide access. The advertised windows do not guarantee that every issue arrives on the same timetable.

Ultimate’s promotional page also describes its earliest window as 30 days. Check the specific comic and your region before choosing a plan.

Founders Offer: payment, renewal and code expiry

The prelaunch offer charges $59.99 USD plus applicable tax for Ultimate’s first year. The subscription starts when the code is redeemed after launch, then renews annually at the then-current standard rate unless canceled; the currently listed rate is $99.99 plus tax.

Redeem on the service website. The signup FAQ gives March 31, 2027, Eastern Time as the code expiry. This does not define the Unlimited library-import deadline. Ages 18+.

The Founders terms provide for refunds of unused, expired preorder codes, generally within 30 business days. Before redemption, refund requests go to Customer Care. These are separate from Unlimited’s prorated subscription refunds.

What is in the catalog and app?

The mobile and web service announces more than 35,000 digital comics, including Marvel, Star Wars and 20th Century Studios. Pull List follows series, characters and creators; recommendations, panel zoom and page-based or vertical reading are also announced.

The January Disney agreement separates this dedicated app from selected vertical adaptations in the main WEBTOON service. Future Disney-portfolio growth is not a promise that every franchise or edition is included at launch.

WEBTOON will preview the app at New York Comic Con on October 8–11, 2026, at booth #2435.

Before you switch

Check your country, device, exact titles and offline-reading requirements. Swedish prices, a full supported-country list and final gift-membership instructions are not established by the sources verified for this guide. Service terms make access dependent on geographic licensing.
