One-Punch Man Season 3 Part 2 will begin airing in Japan in January 2027. The anime’s official October 11 announcement narrows the second cour’s release window and introduces a new key visual, its first promotional video and an opening theme by JAM Project. An exact January premiere day and the international Part 2 streaming schedule have not been announced in the sources checked.

The distinction is useful for anyone planning a catch-up: this is the continuation of Season 3, whose first part aired in 2025. It is not an announcement of Season 4, and January currently describes the Japanese broadcast rather than a guaranteed worldwide launch.

Watch the official Part 2 trailer

The one-minute video comes from the Bandai Namco Filmworks channel, and the production site’s announcement links directly to that upload. It includes English subtitles. Its official description identifies the project as Season 3 Part 2 and gives January 2027 as the release window.

The accompanying key visual, reproduced above, puts Saitama and Flashy Flash together at the bottom, with Garou stretched across the central foreground. Tatsumaki and Genos flank the upper action, beneath a large image of Psykos. The layout brings several strands of the confrontation into one composition; it does not establish their episode order or reveal a final outcome.

That is new promotional artwork for the second cour, rather than an image from an earlier season. Neither the visual nor the short trailer supplies a final episode count.

JAM Project returns with a new opening

The second cour’s opening is “Never Done~最強VS最恐~” by JAM Project. The official trailer gives the English rendering as “Never Done -SUPREME POWER VS ULTIMATE FEAR-”.

The current official credits list Shinpei Nagai as director, Tomohiro Suzuki on series composition and J.C.STAFF as the animation studio. Character design is credited to Chikashi Kubota, Shinjiro Kuroda and Ryosuke Shirakawa, with music by Makoto Miyazaki. These are production credits, rather than an assessment of the finished episodes.

The source manga remains credited to ONE and Yusuke Murata. VIZ’s published Season 3 synopsis places the heroes’ raid on the Monster Association hideout alongside Garou’s awakening there, providing context for the returning characters without turning promotional images into additional plot confirmation.

Where will Part 2 stream internationally?

A Japanese broadcast month does not confirm a streaming service or simultaneous release in every country. The official on-air page includes existing regional platform listings, but it does not provide a separate dated international rollout for the January 2027 cour.

For context, VIZ’s October 7, 2025 announcement covered the first Season 3 rollout: Hulu in the United States, Disney+ in Canada, Netflix in Latin America, Australia and New Zealand, and Crunchyroll in Latin America and Oceania. Those are historical Season 3 launch arrangements, not a fresh announcement that each service will carry Part 2 on the same day.

Viewers should use the official regional listings to check the services relevant to their country, then look for a specific Part 2 announcement before assuming a date, subtitle option or dub schedule.

For now, the firm release information is January 2027 in Japan, with the day still unannounced. Our release calendar records that as a month window. Follow our anime news for further broadcast and streaming announcements.
