Konami Press Start 2026 Recap: Rhapsody in Scarlet, Rev. NOiR, Townfall and Everything Announced
Konami Press Start has aired. Here's everything Konami actually confirmed: the Rhapsody in Scarlet reveal, PROJECT ZIRCON, Rev. NOiR's expanded platform list, and updates on Silent Hill: Townfall and Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

Konami Press Start aired September 3, and the biggest surprise was a brand-new reveal: Rhapsody in Scarlet, a 1920s New York action-adventure nobody had seen before. Alongside it, Konami formally unveiled PROJECT ZIRCON, expanded what’s known about Rev. NOiR, and showed new material from Silent Hill: Townfall, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, KONAMI Wai Wai World Craft and eFootball: Kick-Off!.
Before the show, Konami had confirmed Silent Hill: Townfall, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse and Rev. NOiR as highlighted games, alongside eFootball: Kick-Off! and a project then known as Project Zircoin. The broadcast ran roughly 30 minutes and mixed new gameplay footage with video messages from the games’ creators and development teams.
What Konami Actually Announced
Rhapsody in Scarlet
Konami’s newly revealed original action-adventure is set in 1920s New York and follows Ellie Myers, an aspiring jazz singer and young magus. Combat combines melee, ranged and area-of-effect attacks with magick and mystical beast abilities in a combo-based system. It’s confirmed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, with a release date still to be announced. The English voice cast pairs Cherami Leigh as Ellie and Hannah Grace as Ilya, with Akari Kito and Saori Onishi voicing the same roles in Japanese, and the theme song comes from SOIL & “PIMP” SESSIONS with singer-songwriter Emi Meyer.
PROJECT ZIRCON
Konami formally unveiled PROJECT ZIRCON as a new deck-building roguelike card game, built around alternating strategy and admin phases as players expand territory, acquire cards and facilities, and work through branching scenarios toward multiple endings. Steam wishlists are open now; Konami hasn’t announced platforms beyond that or a release date.
Rev. NOiR
Rev. NOiR now has a release year: 2027. Konami has confirmed Xbox Series X|S and Steam alongside the previously announced PlayStation 5 version. New Story and Battle trailers introduced protagonists Asch and Finé, set against a world-threatening catastrophe called lightfall, with strategic-action combat built around Astral Sigils and Kardieoses. No specific 2027 release window has been given.
Silent Hill: Townfall

Townfall remains on track for September 24, 2026, set on the fictional Scottish island of St. Amelia as a standalone entry. Konami showed additional story and character material, with messages from Jovan Adepo, Terry O’Quinn and Kezia Burrows, and writer/director Jon McKellan discussed the story and characters directly. Konami also confirmed the Japanese voice cast for Simon, Zoe and Richard. As stated ahead of the broadcast, there was no announcement regarding a Silent Hill remake — that held true for the show itself.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse
Belmont’s Curse stays on its October 15, 2026 date. Konami released a new “Bloody Tears” trailer, named for the series’ iconic track, showing additional story moments, characters and bosses centered on Rose Belmont’s fight against a returning Dracula.
KONAMI Wai Wai World Craft
Konami also showed KONAMI Wai Wai World Craft, a social game-creation platform built around three pillars: Create, Play and Connect. Players can build, customize and share their own games, adjusting rules, enemies, mechanics and worlds, with characters drawn from Konami franchises including Contra and Castlevania available to use.
eFootball: Kick-Off!
eFootball: Kick-Off!‘s League Mode arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 through a free update on September 24, adding clubs from leagues across Europe, South America, Asia, Oceania and Japan’s J.League.
