Spider-Man: Brand New Day Home Release — Digital, 4K, Blu-ray and Streaming

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is available digitally from October 6, 2026. Sony’s US-facing page promotes home viewing. This is a buy-or-rent release, not an included Prime subscription premiere.

In Sweden, Viaplay and Prime Video show paid rental and purchase options. Their current public prices are below; an Apple catalog listing alone does not establish a Swedish purchase or rental offer.

Where can you buy or rent it digitally?

Sony’s US-facing page lists Apple TV, Prime Video, Fandango at Home, Sony Pictures Core and Kaleidescape. That list does not establish Sweden’s availability or local launch hours.

These are public storefront checks from October 6, 2026, with prices in Swedish kronor. Check your regional offer before paying; prices and availability can change.

Viaplay’s store rules say a subscription package is not required, but a registered account with a payment card is. Check the rental period in the title’s checkout; we did not verify it before the account gate.

Prime Video’s title-specific options panel gives 30 days to start a rental and 48 hours to finish after playback begins. Its displayed SD, HD and UHD options have the same rental and purchase prices.

The US Apple TV listing and Swedish listing are accessible, but their public page text did not expose purchase or rental controls in our checks. A catalog page alone does not confirm a transaction is available. Check your signed-in regional store before paying; we are not quoting unverified prices.

Is it included with Amazon Prime?

No. Amazon describes Brand New Day as an additional-cost buy or rent title on Prime Video from October 6. It also says a Prime membership is not required to buy or rent movies there. Seeing the title inside the Prime Video app does not make it part of the subscription catalog.

When will it stream with a subscription?

Netflix’s January 2026 Sony agreement covers the first paid subscription window after the cinema and home-video release periods. Netflix already held those rights in the US, Germany and Southeast Asia. The expanded arrangement is scheduled to begin rolling out territory by territory later in 2026, reaching full global coverage in early 2029.

That agreement does not give Brand New Day a Netflix release date. No title-specific launch or Swedish subscription date is confirmed in the primary material checked. A future rights agreement is not evidence that the film is already in a country’s subscription catalog. We will update this guide when a platform announces an actual date and territory.

What about Disney+?

No Swedish Disney+ subscription date was verified in our checks. Disney+‘s October 5 UK Spider-Man guide mentions the film’s cinema release; it does not announce a subscription date for Sweden.

When do 4K, Blu-ray and DVD arrive?

Sony’s page links physical pre-orders without a date. Its U.S. retailer links did not establish reliable timing. Check the current local edition before ordering.

Which extras are listed?

The Sony announcement reproduced by No(R)eruns.net lists outtakes and behind-the-scenes featurettes for 4K UHD, Blu-ray and digital. DVD lists Tom Holland: Evolving Spider, Brand New Direction and Friends and Foes. This format breakdown does not guarantee extras with every digital rental; check the edition you plan to buy.
