Overgeared’s anime adaptation — officially titled Tempal The Power of Items in Japan — dropped its third PV on September 13, 2026, and it changes more than the footage on screen: two new cast members, the ending theme, and a confirmed early Prime Video start in Japan are all new here.

What’s New in This PV

  • Third official trailer, titled 「第3弾PV」 (PV 3), uploaded by Pony Canyon’s official anime channel
  • Two newly announced cast members: Yuki Murata as Irene and Yurika Hirayama as Isabel
  • Ending theme “Ray of Emotion” by virtual singer TAO, previewed in this PV for the first time
  • Confirmed distribution update: Prime Video begins streaming in Japan on September 27, 2026 (Sundays, 23:30 JST) — five days ahead of the October 2, 2026 TV broadcast (Fridays, 23:30 JST on TOKYO MX and BS11)
  • Opening theme confirmed as “SATISFY” by Re:name

What’s Shown vs. What’s Confirmed

The PV itself features new battle footage and, per coverage of the reveal, scenes suggesting a closer emotional connection developing between protagonist Grid and Irene. That framing comes from how the trailer is edited and described in the accompanying press coverage — it’s a reasonable read of what’s shown, not an official plot confirmation. Neither Irene’s nor Isabel’s full role in the story, their relationship to the existing Tsedaka Guild cast, or any romantic outcome has been spelled out by official character or synopsis material. Treat the romance angle as visible in the trailer’s editing, not as a confirmed story beat.

Japan Streaming Now Starts Before Japan TV

This is the most concrete new information in the update: Prime Video’s Japanese service will carry Tempal starting September 27, a full five days before the terrestrial broadcast begins October 2. That’s a genuine schedule change worth flagging specifically because it inverts the usual order — streaming ahead of TV, rather than following it. This applies to Prime Video in Japan specifically; it is not confirmation of a simultaneous or early global Prime Video launch.

Crunchyroll’s International Date Is Now Confirmed: September 27

Crunchyroll’s Fall 2026 seasonal lineup now lists Overgeared with a subtitled premiere on September 27, 2026 — the same date as Japan’s Prime Video start, though the two are separate releases on separate services. Crunchyroll’s listing describes the release as reaching subscribers worldwide, excluding Japan and Korea; Japan gets the separate Prime Video window covered above, and Korea — where the source webtoon originates — isn’t part of this Crunchyroll release either. An exact streaming time for the September 27 premiere hadn’t been published as of this writing.

Crunchyroll has now confirmed that the English dub starts September 27 alongside the Japanese-language release. Its Episode 1 cast includes Ricco Fajardo as Grid, Alexis Tipton as Irene and Morgan Lauré as Yura. The announcement establishes a same-day launch, but does not establish that both versions appear at the exact same minute. Crunchyroll has also confirmed dub tracks in Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, French, Castilian Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Polish, Thai and Tagalog.

Crunchyroll also published a new character trailer introducing Grid on September 19, corroborating the protagonist’s official name and giving a fuller look at his introduction — a 26-year-old saddled with debt and bad luck who becomes a legendary blacksmith’s heir in the VR game Satisfy, only to have that progress reset and be forced to restart. That’s consistent with, not a change to, the setup already covered by this site’s prior Overgeared announcement coverage.

What Hasn’t Changed

The core production credits remain the same as prior announcements: animation by J.C.STAFF, director Ayako Kono, series composition by Kenta Ihara, character designs by Ryosuke Tanigawa, and music by Yoshiaki Fujisawa. The October 2 TV broadcast date and TOKYO MX/BS11 slot are unchanged from earlier reveals — this update adds cast, music, and the Prime Video timing on top of what was already known.

Bottom Line

The third Overgeared PV locks in Irene and Isabel as cast additions, reveals the ending theme, and confirms Japan’s Prime Video stream starts five days before the TV broadcast. Crunchyroll’s international premiere and English dub both begin September 27 outside Japan and Korea; an exact streaming time has not been announced here.
